Paula Long, CEO, DataGravityPaula Long

Paula is the CEO and co-founder of DataGravity. She previously co-founded storage provider EqualLogic. Paula served as Vice President of Product Development at Heartland Robotics. Prior to Heartland Paula was Co-Founder and EVP of Products and Strategy at EqualLogic which was acquired by Dell for $1.4 billion in 2008. Paula remained at Dell as VP of Storage, focused on the EqualLogic product line until January of 2010.

She has held numerous technical leadership positions at a variety of technology companies. She is active in the startup community. Paula has won multiple awards for Entrepreneurship, including New Hampshire High Tech Council Entrepreneur of the year award, the Ernst & Young’s 2008 Northeast Regional “Entrepreneur of the Year” and a National Finalist for the same award. She is a graduate of Westfield State College.

John Joseph, President, DataGravity

John Joseph

John is the President and co-founder of DataGravity. He was Vice President of Storage Solutions Marketing at Dell for three years after the acquisition of EqualLogic in 2008. In 2003, he joined EqualLogic as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management to launch the company and the PS Series products into the rapidly growing iSCSI SAN market, achieving the #1 market share position ultimately with Dell. As an early executive at EqualLogic John worked with the management team to architect and build the go to market plan for the company.

Prior to EqualLogic, John Joseph was Vice President of Marketing for the enterprise class hard disk drive products at Maxtor and Quantum Corporations. At Digital Equipment Corporation in the late 1980’s, Joseph lead engineers to develop advanced silicon packaging technology, new computer cooling methods, and large system hardware design. He is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Clark University.

Bryan Panner, Director of Engineering, DataGravity

Bryan Panner

Bryan is Director of Engineering at DataGravity. Bryan has more than 20 years of experience developing and delivering innovative Enterprise products. He has led storage, file system, and storage management teams. He has a solid track record for delivering products that customers want, on time and with a high level of quality. Prior to joining DataGravity, Bryan held multiple leadership positions at EqualLogic including being actively involved in the development of the storage subsystem. Bryan was a Director at Dell/EqualLogic and drove several new efforts that have not yet been released. In the early 90’s, Bryan was one of the early leaders at Data Kinesis. While there he lead the development and architecture of their products. Adaptec purchased Data Kinesis in 1996. Bryan is a graduate of Franklin Peirce University.

David Siles, VP Worldwide Field Operations, DataGravity

David Siles

David is Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations and Customer Success. He is an internationally recognized virtualization expert and business leader who brings more than 20 years of experience to DataGravity. Prior to joining the company, he was a member of the senior leadership team at Veeam Software where he served as Director, Worldwide Technical Operations overseeing the pre-sales engineering and customer success teams globally.

Before Veeam, David was the CTO and VP of Professional Services for Hipskind TSG. He previously served the citizens of Kane County, Illinois for over 5 years as the Chief Technical Officer for the county. He is a graduate of DeVry University.
