Quality Assurance Engineer

  • Create automated test cases, modify, and test the code, forms, and script using the Python scripting language along with C and shell scripting;
  • Develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information;
  • Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software;
  • Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific tasks;
  • Develop test plans and trial cases for NFS and CIFS protocols on UNIX platforms based on detailed knowledge of the protocols;
  • Develop tests and execute trial runs of programs and software applications based on the test plans developed for NFS and CIFS protocols;
  • Develop test plans and test cases for Storage and Network Management;
  • Develop and execute tests based on the test cases developed for Network management components;
  • Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced;
  • Work with Software Developers to clarify program intent , identify problems and then isolate and fix: protocol issues, performance problems, scalability constraints and data integration problems;
  • Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements;
  • Perform regression tests for existing Intelligence, Storage, and Management features;
  • Work with Software Developers to create test suites new functionality; and
  • Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions for Software Developers.

Requirements:     
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics or closely related field, plus 2 years of experience in developing test plan, test cases and performing test execution for software products.

Experience must include:

  • Expertise in test automation using scripting languages (Python);
  • Test experience in Storage, file systems and networking; and
  • Test experience in Unix flavor operating systems.

Job Description:
Join DataGravity at the ground floor to help establish our flagship Discovery Series platform as the premier solution in a new market space.  As Product and Solutions Marketing Manager, you will be a key product and solutions expert and evangelist, working closely with product marketing and internal experts to create sales and marketing tools and initiatives to grow revenue and market share.

Manager, Field and Channel Marketing (Corporate Office)

Job Description:

The Field and Channel Marketing Manager will play a key role in helping DataGravity sales teams and key partners develop and implement marketing plans to increase pipeline and drive win rates across accounts in territory. This position will develop and drive high touch marketing programs that generate quality pipeline, move prospects through the sales cycle, increase win rates and build customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the Sales team, create and manage marketing plans and budgets, while promoting awareness of the DataGravity brand within their region. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing relationships and understanding the business models for the sales territories and corresponding key partners.
  • Primary duties include developing marketing plans that align with DataGravity strategic go-to-market programs, reporting against these plans, and increasing quality of programs. Secondary responsibilities include ongoing field communications, supporting local end customer and partner events, and sharing best practices across partners and regions.
  • Proactively drive marketing programs from planning, execution, to tracking results. Understand field needs, partner needs, ensure alignment with marketing objectives, define programs, deliver programs in-region, and measure success.
  • Participate with Sales team, in the development of regular frequency partner business plans in region that tie to partner and DataGravity business goals
  • Develop integrated plans to support partners and their revenue objectives and assist with execution with goal of making partners self-sufficient
  • Ensure flawless execution of customer and sales facing events and manage the delivery and execution of key DataGravity marketing deliverables
  • Act as territory marketing subject matter expert and coordinate efforts with sales, partners, corporate marketing, channel sales, alliance marketing and other DataGravity teams

Job Description:
This position is responsible for developing, accelerating, up selling and closing business with mid-market and enterprise accounts in an assigned market territory through solution selling with the partner sales community.  Develops assigned territory by recruiting and enabling partners to call on end-users who have potential to contribute significant revenue to DataGravity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.  A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience with vendors associated to Storage, Data Protection, Virtualization, and/or Data Analytics technology strongly desired
  • Minimum of five (5) or more years of mid-market to enterprise solution sales; channel sales experience required with experience managing resellers at a strategic and tactical, transaction-based level
  • Proven track record of accomplished selling in the mid-market and enterprise accounts to IT infrastructure specialists and line of business decision makers; must have an in-depth understanding of technology trends and issues and their impact on enterprises at strategic and tactical levels
